How can we help?

A UPI (Ubutaka Parcel Identifier) is Rwanda's national land parcel ID. You can find it on your land title document or by visiting your local sector land office. The app uses it to link your field to satellite monitoring data.

Core features like satellite monitoring and AI responses require internet connectivity to fetch live data. You can still view previously loaded data and farm records offline. We recommend syncing regularly when you have a connection.

The AI provides guidance based on photo analysis and is designed to help farmers identify common diseases early. For confirmed diagnoses or treatment decisions, we recommend consulting a qualified agronomist. You can connect with one directly through the app.

The system currently supports major Rwandan staple and cash crops. The full list of supported crops is displayed within the disease detection feature. We continue to expand coverage with each update.

Photos submitted for disease detection are processed and deleted within 30 days of submission. They are not retained for commercial purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Email us at info@hekitari.com with a deletion request. We will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law to retain it.
